Smart Zlín

The fading change of 26 parking machines, at which you can pay by card after entering the vehicle registration number, was followed by a complete renewal of the barrier systems when unsightly, dilapidated parking booths finally disappeared from the streets of Zlín and were replaced by a modern and fully automatic parking system. 5 main parking lots underwent a transformation – Velké Kino, Nad Tržnicí, Bartošova, City Theatre and Gahurova. In the same period, the Březnická parking lot was also built, but this took place as part of a separate project.

The SMART Zlín project also included the installation of 12 VMS (Variable Message Sign) - old navigation boards were replaced with new ones in 8 places, and another 4 boards were placed in new places in the city center and serve, among other things, as navigation to the parking lot. The entire system is covered by surveillance cameras and monitored non-stop by the Zlín Technical Services dispatch center, which can provide quick assistance to customers in the event of difficulties in the parking lot via intercoms.
