The team at CROSS is very proud of the job done for Izmir. The city purchased a comprehensive traffic control system, connecting in excess of 3,000 smart devices and a purpose-built control center. Apart from cutting journey times by half, drivers are now directed to vacant parking spaces, while the police are able to monitor offences remotely. The arrangement for controlling traffic is constantly undergoing improvement, facilitated by utilizing the data gleaned from this extremely ‘smart city’.
